Miui is one of the widely used custom rom that has been release on Android platform. It is best known for customizations. There are tonnes of features embedded in this rom. Miui was designed by Xiaomi, a chineese smartphone manufacturer which designs Mi devices. If you have seen and Mi devices like Redmi then you may have been saw its user interface and have actually feel its beauty.
About Miui 8 Rom
Xiaomi has prepared for the release of MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM v8.2.1, which will be arriving for compatible Mi devices this week. And to give you an idea of what to expect from this new build, it has released a changelog preview for the update. The preview confirms that the next MIUI 8 global beta will bring improvements to Calendar and Personal Hotspot features.
The major improvement to the Calendar app on Mi devices is that users will now be able to add birthdays to the calendar from Contacts. It means you have contacts on your phone with their birth dates, then you can import birthdays to calendar without doing it manually again. To do this, you will simply need to choose Import birthday from contacts option while adding a new event to Calendar application. It will then option the Contacts interface from where you can browse and choose the preferred contact and import his/her birthday.
