How to Remove Facebook Profile From Google Search Results

Facebook privacy is a main factor which tells you how safe your personal information in front of other Facebook users, some users want to show their personal information in front of new and unknown FB users and some are not. Every user has its own fashion and culture like some girls and women don’t want to show their profile images and information in front of an unknown person and some peoples want to show their information and status for making new friends of their niche.

If you take the side of strong privacy so remove your FB personal information from search results, if you think that your information is only alive on so it is your wrong thought because if you don’t block search results option in the privacy settings so cause of cache your all information of Facebook are still available on Search Engine results like Google and Yahoo. If you want to see the evidence on this topic, so simply search your FB registered an email address or FB profile name in Google search results and you will be astonished to see that your FB personal information is shown in the search result.

So for those users who want to make their Facebook privacy strong and sharp, follow these below steps as mentioned below.

First, go to Settings.

On the left-hand side you will see Privacy, so click on it and see the third section “who can look me up”.

In the third section, you have to click on Edit on the third option as shown in below image.

Note: By default in Facebook this option will only work and show your profile information in search engine search results when you turn 18.

Uncheck “Enable When I Turn 18”.

A pop-up box will appear in which you have to click on Turn Off for disable this option.

Now your FB profile is safe from Search Engine search results, i.e. Google and Yahoo. After disabling this option, you have to wait 2 or 3 days for removing of the cache from search results after three days type your FB profile name or email address in the search results for assurance that your FB profile is totally safe and protected.
